I worked in Local Government until ten years ago at which point, I was made redundant and for the past eight years have travelled. My role was Youth Work Manager for the Burton and Uttoxeter areas. My role involved me working with all the statutory and voluntary agencies in the Burton and surrounding areas which gave me a great network. The many agencies included police, schools, voluntary sector and many others.

I have chaired the Princes Trust Action for the area and have also done residential work for them in the past.

I am now working casually for a local school, and I am enjoying the work. Working with young people is my passion and I do not think I will ever tire of it. I do however feel that I would be able to contribute to the work of the Parish. Many of the skills I have are transferable. I am a U3a member and run the local dancing group.
